I made this one for Amanda Robinson, for a class she was teaching at Creative Passion Classes. The class was for a seasonal mini using her custom designed cut files for the Silhouette. Her designs were great (in love with that 'Easter' cut file!) and and I had a ton of fun working with them. I love making minis. They help me break out of my normal comfort zone and I feel like I can try things in them that I wouldn't typically try in my other projects. I also think they are a great way to use kit club kits. I find if I limit myself to what is in the kit, it relieves me of the stress of having to mix product - which we all know can be overwhelming. If nothing else, my little break from the crafty world taught me to pare down and simplify.
(warning - lots of photos ahead...)
Armed with my Scrapbook Circle 'Charmed Life' kit for March and Amanda's cut files I got to work. The base of the album is pre-cut file folder cards by Webster's Pages/Allison Kreft. A combination of washi and baker's twine from the Twinery holds the whole thing together:
Here is the entire album - which is an overview of favorite photos (mostly printed wallet size) from the Spring of 2012:
I folded in a variety of page sizes, including cards intended for Project Life use. Here's a strip of those cards on the cutter - getting scored to fold into my album:
Lots of washi, lots of tags, lots of die cuts in this quick mini album. Definitely one of my faves!
I hope you have a great day ahead - back tomorrow with some more Jillibean projects to share!
Thanks for stopping by!
