A Winner & Some Cards

Today I've got my Big Picture Classes winner:

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. The luck winner of May Flaum's Kit-tastic class is:
Commenter #10, aka Suz - Congratulations! Hope you enjoy the class!

In the crafty world, there's lots of Jillibean Soup on the my desk right now. I love the die cut sheets, particularly the nested circular shapes. I layered them up and used them to make these two cards.

I wanted the background to be embossed but didn't want an all-over pattern. To remedy that problem, I used a small Stampin' Up button die (one that cuts the shape and embosses it at the same time) to make cuts in the same color in the background. Then I scattered them like button confetti and got the exact look I wanted. Here's a close up:

Here's a variation on this concept - also with lots of Jillibean Soup. Love all the bright color on white:

Almost half way through the week and very excited. The kids seem to be getting into the school routine and adapting to their new classes. I'm so relieved.
Thanks for stopping by - hope you are having a great week!
