A Photocentric Halloween

Today I get to share a project that I made with some stamps from the Photocentric September free download (designed by Cheri Piles) - which was a really fun Halloween set. I fell in love with these graphic icon stamps and knew exactly what I wanted to do with them:

This simple set of magnets is made with clear page pebbles*, some black Staz-On, a little bit of spray ink (Mister Huey) and a tiny amount of type-printed patterned paper. The magnet with the spider has a little bit of dimension, The web is under the clear pebble, the spider is cut out and popped up on top of it with some dimensional adhesive.

Photocentric makes an amazing machine that allows you to design and make your own acrylic stamps. If you are not familiar with it, stop by their website and check it out. For my quick and easy how-to on these magnets, stop by the Photocentric Blog. While you are there you can check out some great projects with the September release.

** The clear pebbles - does anyone have a source for these? I purchased them ages ago from Close To My Heart and have not seen them anywhere since. I am down to my last 2 and I'll be so sad if I can't find them again. I'm kicking myself for not stocking up when I could!

So today I'm off to the big city with my cousins who are visiting from Italy. The kids have off so we are going to do the tourist thing. Will share some photos tomorrow (big camera is all ready to go!) Also, I got some exciting news yesterday that I can't wait to share. It's been a seriously great week!

Thanks for stopping by!
