The Big Picture Scrapbooking Blog Layout

Preempting the #2 of 3 Pebbles, Inc. layout to share the project I made for my Big Picture Scrapbooking blog post from earlier this week. Hope you got a chance to stop by and read my pattern mixing post. If you left a comment you are in the running to win a 6 x 6 Pebbles, Inc. Sunnyside pad (the same one I used on this page.) (psst...you have until 10 p.m. PT tonight to get in on the action.)

With the exception of the words 'summer fun' which is an SRM Sticker, the lined paper, some of the washi and the kraft tag, this page is all Pebbles, Inc.

I added that texture to the white layer so it wouldn't look so flat and boring next to all the other pattern going on. This is the first time I ever embossed anything for a layout. I really like the dimension it added to the layers. I plan to do it some more!

I even tucked a boardwalk ticket into the layers. Don't tell my kids; it's worth 300 prize points at Lucky Leos in Seaside. They'd be mad if they new I destroyed it for the sake of craftiness.  (Seaside Heights is where they film the infamous Jersey Shore series for MTV - it's quite a scene.)

So last night, a quick stop into the local big-box craft store for Glue Dots and cutter blades netted some plastic 12 x 12 paper trays - an impulse buy but I already think I need 3 more of these:

This simple purchase has launched me into a full blown re-organization of my space which is now making me realize how much stuff I need to purge. Which led to the realization that I need to paint the space and probably should do it while it's torn apart. Then I started to rethink the existing storage conditions which led to the realization that I need to go to Ikea. And I also need to have yard sale! That ever happen to you? One simple, innocent purchase and the seed it planted? My work is cut out for me.

Thanks for stopping by - hope you have a great weekend!
