A 'mini album' kind of day.

I woke up today thinking I would work on 'stash purge 2012' but wound up diving into this project.
A few weeks ago I picked up these pretty Martha Stewart small binder dividers at Staples.

I've been picking up a  lot of MS items at Staples - the office line is beautiful and extremely versatile for us crafty types. I wanted to use these dividers to make a mini album and yesterday I did. I paired the dividers up with some Little Yellow Bicycle 'Escape' line and got to work making a Smash-type travel album for our upcoming Disney trip. I wanted it to be something I could fill in easily when I got home with the highlights of our trip. I'm wondering if having the format figured out will guide my picture taking when I get there? I'll let you know.

Here's a close up of my cover. Love that airplane shaped chipboard! I mixed it with some American Crafts small letter stickers and some paper tape. I added some small Girls Paperie stickers to the tabs:

Here are some of the interior 'highlights.
The LYB chipboard pack for the Escape Collection had an Eiffel Tower and a cute little European looking house so I used them to make a page for 'EPCOT' day. We'll be there during the Food & Wine Fest so I'm sure there will be some info to record here:

I ran out of some letters in the LYB stickers so I mixed them with some American Crafts small letter stickers:

That is some very old Making Memories paper map tape. I've saved it for many years and glad I did now that tape is trending, and maps, too! (That neon-colored fingertip is my daughter's :)

This is the inside back cover. I made a little pocket with one of the LYB patterned papers to hold our park & party tickets and wrist bands:

Here's a close up of the envelope with an Amy Tan/American Crafts paper clip:

So that's my mini made in a few short hours. The mojo was extremely cooperative yesterday and I was grateful. I actually got a jump on some assignments that are due at the end of the week.
Hope you are having a great week!

Very cute! I love that camera paper clip!
I have been purging my scrap supplies this summer and yesterday gave away a whole bunch of stickers, letter stickers, ribbon and cardstock to this lady with three cute little girls who love to craft. She gave me some cash for it but it felt good to pass it on to other crafters! Now I can get myself some new stash...ha!

Cool. I've been admiring those MS office supplies for some time now, but I haven't bought any yet. I love how your album turned out.
