Sunday at The Studio

This week we've got a fun challenge at The Studio; make a page with at least 3 items from this list:

Die cuts
A Star
Washi Tape

All 6 for me but my go to items were the die cuts & the washi. This page features a photo of my family on the tea cup ride at Disney.
Another imperfect photo but one of my faves. I love the way this ride looks - the colors and shapes are so pretty. I never ride, however, because it makes me want to barf (it's actually not even easy for me to watch people ride this ride...but that is a story for another day). While I wait, I use my time on the sideline to try and take a decent motion photo in manual mode. As you can see, I have not yet mastered the technique. One of these days I'll get a perfect shot.
Here's the title and some small washi pennant flags on the side. I used my Silhouette to cut the shape for the title, which was downloaded from the Silhouette store:
I also downloaded and cut these lanterns which reminded me of the lanterns that hang from the ceiling in the ride:
The papers on this page are Lily Bee along with washi from American Crafts and Hambly. I also squeezed in an Elle's date tag and some SRM stickers.

Hope you will stop by The Studio today and play along. We've got an amazing inspiration gallery, a talented guest designer and a great prize up for grabs from Craft Island.

Now I need to hit the store and start Easter prep. I'm shocked at how fast this holiday creeped up on me. I'm embarrassed to say I haven't even taken out the decorations yet. So I'm off - have a great day!

Such a fun layout! I love the sense of motion in your "imperfect" photo. That might well be lost if everything went to plan.
