You might recall these little chipboard boxes from a few posts back:
I thought, looking at these piled on my desk, that turned upside down they looked just like little cakes. So today I get the share the project that resulted for SRM Stickers; a tiny box in the shape of a 2 layer cake. The perfect size for a tiny gift, like jewelry or maybe money (good things come in small packages, right?!)
When you pull off the top, you access the small compartment where I've tucked a 'make a wish' sentiment sticker:
SRM stickers were the perfect addition to this project. Because they are printed on a thin, clear, flexible base, they managed the curves of the cake with ease (that little green scallop is one of the new border stickers). With a thicker paper or cardstock sticker, this would not have been possible. This box is for a birthday but these would be great for all occasions. I could see cute little wedding cakes - or the larger version, which you can
see here, would make a great holder for a favor.
Here are the stickers used:
57002 We've Got Your Border - Birthday
53007 - We've Got Your Sticker - Princess
51003 - Sticker Sentiments - Birthday
The paper and the little flags are Pebbles, Inc. The boxes came from AC Moore. The tiny pearls are Stampin' Up.
Thanks for stopping by today - hope you are all having a great week!
