materials: cardstock: Bazzill; patterned paper, journal label: October Afternoon; chipboard, letters: Cosmo Cricket
Felt so good to make this card. I didn't have to over think it, or second guess it, or wonder if it was clever enough. Cheerful and simple. Just what I needed. If you make any chipboard creations, link them up at The Studio. We'd love to see them! Need some more inspiration? Check out the design team's work right here.
Much to do today. Need to photograph and upload my Gallery Idol Round 2 card. (But first I need to run them past a friend to make sure I pick the right one.) I'm heading to CHA tomorrow and have not packed a single thing. Worse than that, I have not given a single thought to what I will wear. Getting the stuff in the bag is one thing, figuring out what will go in the bag - that's a whole other story. Time to make a list, I think.
I'll be back tomorrow with my Gallery Idol Round 2 card and some more shameless begging for votes. Have a great day!

No need to beg with your talent! What a cute card, lovely colors.
absolutely darling!
How do you possibly have time to be making cards for anything other than GI? I don't have enough mojo to spread it around like that! Haha. And you make it look so easy. Another beauty.
Such a happy card, Val! Love that CC chippies! :) Cant wait to see your GI card!
You have made it to the next round? I knew you would! BTW, I received the stellar card in the mail the other day. It is GORGEOUS! Even more beuatiful in person! :)
Good luck packing, I feel your pain. Definitely figuring out what to put in the suitcase is much more painstaking than loading it up!
Have a blast at CHA, I wish I could be there!
Love that sweet little bee!
Can't wait to see your next GI creation! Your first 2 rocked!
And thanks for your sweet comments on my blog - an honour coming from such a talented crafter! :)
Congratulations on your win, I can't wait to see your next card. Love the layering on this one too.
