Let's start with the basics. At Polkadot Door Designs, Rebecca & Sarah provide a great inspiration photo. It contains several elements, including a sentiment. You can use them all, or just one. It's up to you. Here is this months inspiration photo:

Pretty...don't Rebecca & Sarah pick the most amazing inspiration photos?
So, here's what I made. For me, the sentiment - which I thought would be great on a gift tag for a house warming gift, guided my project. The color, flowers and the lace doily also played a role in my design.
Some of the flowers in the background paper (by Pebbles) are embossed. I used my piercer to outline some of those flowers to add a little more texture. I thought that element, along with the lace ribbon, were reminiscent of the doily. Here's a close up:

materials: patterned paper, chipboard brackets, heart: Pebbles; letters stickers: Basic Grey; corrugated house: Jillibean Soup; pin: Girls Paperie; ribbon: May Arts

So, now follow along the hop, leaving comments as you go and you could win the blog hop prize. Link up your inspired project at Polka Dot Door and you could win the inspiration prize.
