Twisted Sketch #55

Aren't the weeks flying by? Can't believe it's Saturday again. So happy we are headed towards warmer weather but a little sad for the end of school. Can't believe my kids will be in the first & third grades when we head back in the Fall. Why do the 'little' years have to go by so fast?

I'm here today with a new card for Twisted Sketches. This week's twist is "green."

materials: cardstock: Bazzill; patterned paper, stickers: Echo Park; twine: Divine Twine; buttons: Joanne's

For this card I dipped into the Echo Park Playground stash. I love this line. So bright and happy. Echo Park can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned!  Instead of stitching through the button holes, I stitched over them. I used a lot of green to make the twist and even stitched in green. I zig zagged to mimic grass at the base of the tree. Here's the close up:
So, to see the sketch and some more great inspiration from the design team stop by the Twisted Sketches blog. We'd love to see how you are inspired by the sketch. And don't forget to have a peek at the design team call while you are there!
Thanks for stopping by!

I love this card Valerie! Very cool that you were inspired by the swirls to create the draping banner. That tire swing is so precious too!

(and as always, I love all the fabulous stitching!)
