Twisted Sketch #49

Time for a Twisted Sketch from Anam! The twist for sketch #49 is "Spring":
I used papers from my February Studio Calico kit to make this card. I just love the bright springy colors in that kit. It's definitely one of my faves and I'm close to depleting it, which feels really good!
materials: cardstock: Bazzill; patterned paper, stickers: Crate for Studio Calico; buttons: Jenni Bowlin; pin: K & Co.; stamps: Stampin Up, Creative Cafe; ribbon: Studio Calico; paper flag: Martha Stewart

Hope you will join us and link your springy creation to the comments. To see the sketch and the work of the fab design team, click here. Looking forward to seeing what you make!

Here's the part where I ramble on about random stuff....
Yesterday, I spent a little time (well,  over an hour) in my happy place, The Scrapper's Cove. I haven't been in ages so I had a lot of catching up to do with Chris & Sue. There was so much new product I thought my head would explode. Needless to say, I took part in a little retail therapy, plus the ladies gave me 2 full packs of Echo Park (For the Record & Springtime)  to make store samples with (Jackpot! Those collections are so, so cute!) Got lots of craftiness on the table! Today I get to go to a class at my local Stampin' Up rep's house - it's a Big Shot die cutting class and since I'm teetering on the verge of buying one, I need to actually see what it can do. Then, I've got packing to do. I've signed up for a weekend crop next week in Parsipanny. I haven't been to one of these things in ages and I have no idea how to pack or what to bring. All I know is, I can't spend a weekend without my sewing machine, so that is definitely coming along on the adventure!

Oh, one more thing.....the Studio blog hop is still going on and there are some great prizes along the way. To get back to the hop, click here, or simply scroll down to the previous post.
Happy Saturday, all!
