Simple Things Sunday

and he's on the move...
It took a few days for him to feel the Christmas spirit in our house, but last night our elf (who does not have a name) finally relocated! My kids were so excited. I will miss these 'believeing' days so much when they are gone.

Stop by Rebecca Cooper's blog to see the details about the Simple Things Photo project and link up your photo!

I've got to know, is that Elf on the Shelf? My boys are so respectful of our "Petrie" that they really do not touch him!

I had totally forgotten about that elf from my own childhood. Thanks for the memory, Valerie! Have a great week :)

I can just imagine the excitement in their eyes for the little elf.

Me too. Our Elf's name is Doodle. Jack (6) and Sam (3) truly adore him. It is the saddest on Christmas Eve though. My oldest one always talks to Doodle to tell him goodbye until next year, and then he cries. :( So bittersweet...
