In a challenge kind of mood today! This sketch from My Sketch World initially didn't catch my eye because of the crooked lines.
I just don't do crooked. And I don't do 'rounded' very much either, now that I think about it. Can't help myself. But then I saw Jan's take and thought - 'Jan made the lines straight, and so can I!" Funny, it just takes a little inspiration from a beloved crafty friend to get the mojo flowing! So here's what I made.
I'm heading to a baby shower tomorrow so that was the inspiration for this card. And for this one too - I was liking working with this color combo so much I had to make something else:
"The Rabbit" sheet music and bunny stamp combo were pure scrapbooking coincidence. I had just stamped the bunny and colored it when I went to get a strip of the music. When I flipped over the scrap, I saw the phrase "The Rabbit" and that was that. I love when that happens!!
Off to work on Jan's challenge now...

Your cards are fantastic! Oh how I love the details with the stitching and lace, and the safety pin on your last card. Hope you are having the utmost fine day Valerie!
So pretty!
Val, my friend. My sweet friend. My sweet and very talented friend. First of all, thank you for doing my challenge-both your cards are fantastic-I adore that stamp and the piercing around the edge of it is utterly fantastic! These baby shower cards with Lucy's sketch are
