A quick check in today - they all seem to be quick lately...hmmm
The team from The Studio was invited to be part of Becky Fleck's Page Maps for October. I was so excited to get my sketch and work with Becky. I'll reveal my sketch & layout here tomorrow. Today I've got the 'back up'  layout:

I don't speak French but I wish I did. My favorite phrase by far is 'le petit dejeuner' which technically is a continental breakfast, but translates literally to 'a little breakfast.' This page is about an elaborate breakfast eating ritual that my kids love. Soft boiled eggs in their special egg holders, toast buttered and cut into strips narrow enough to fit into the eggs. It's a big production and sometimes I have to re-do the eggs because I either cook them too long, or not enough, but they love it. So, despite the fact that the smell of eggs makes me sick to my stomach, I hold my breath and cook this little breakfast for them. I love watching them stuff their little faces.

Today I've got a lot on the plate. I must finish and upload my Studio layout for the week, write a review for Scrap That! and start taking photos for my "Picture Fall'' class. Oh, and then there's the other stuff like laundry and food shopping. I always forget about that stuff ;)
