So here's the sketch I was working with, ala' Karen Baker:
Here's my first sketch card. I have to confess, I was trying to combine this challenge with the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger - hence the color selection & flower. It got a little confusing though, so I'll post those & discuss another day. Anywho...back to the first attempt:
Then more clean, more simple...
Here I tipped it on it's side:
I used a lot of October Afternoon on these cards (stickers, yellow paper, turquoise paper). The pink paper is Crate. The flat flower is American Crafts, the white one is Prima. The buttons are Maya Road and that bumpy kraft border and the script background in the last card are Basic Grey Basics. Most of these items came courtesy of my last 3 Studio Calico kits. The stamped sentiments are Stampin' Up. I just got my copy of the new Stampin' Up catalog from my local rep Pam. I love when the new SU catalog comes out! And this one couldn't have come soon enough - I'm in serious need of some new sentiment stamps. Though I love them, I've been beating those stamps on the card above to death.
Tomorrow a.m. I'll try to post my Tuesday Trigger cards.
Hope everyone is having a fun weekend and to my fellow Americans..a Happy 4th of July!
