Also have this pile of photos, ephemera and notes to compile into a memory book for the principal of my son's pre-school.
She's retiring this year and I volunteered to make the scrapbook (2 months ago) (In my defense, I only started receiving material a few weeks ago). I will come up with a page formula and just crank it out. It's due by Thursday. Luckily, I work well under pressure. I've never made a big book like this for anyone. I've made minis but not big 12 x 12s. I'll post photos when it's done.
Also, want to give a shout out to 2 products on my desk that I am totally loving:
That new American Crafts adhesive is wonderful and it makes that familiar & comforting clicking sound that another one of my favorite products used to make before it was harshly discontinued. I wish it was a little bigger but I also love that it is not the size of a pizza box! The color is pretty awesome, too! The Tim Holtz pins - I know, big whoop, safety pins. But, these are tiny and special colors. I've been using them on everything. I better cool it with the pins.
In the midst of all this, my little boy is going to turn 5 (cupcakes to bake) and my brother is coming to visit for a week from North Carolina with his young son. Doesn't help that it's 'end of the year' at school and all kinds of activities are filling in the days. Yikes!!
