Another "go to" sketch...

this one at Paper Crafts Connection. Since nearly every card I make seems to unintentionally follow this sketch, I was able to get these done pretty quickly. All of the sketches are coming from this magazine.
I just picked this up last week and I'm really glad I did. It's a great resource. Here's the sketch for this week:
Here's card #1:
Love those Prima flowers. Boy, have those things come a long way! I remember snapping up those milk bottles when they first came out. I gave away what seemed like billions of those paper flowers at my last yard sale. What a sucker for packaging I am!
Here's #2:
I used a Close To My Heart white pigment ink to stamp the doily. Oh, how I love that stamp but that ink takes forever to dry. (I even cooked it with the heat gun and it still does not want to dry. If anyone has any tips on this, please feel free to share.) The whole thing is assembled on top of a Hambly doily transparency.

Speaking of Hambly - I happened by their blog the other day to read the details about their design team call, and noticed that I won a prize last week. I had left a comment about how awesome Paige's work was, and I won! Didn't I just post a few weeks ago that I never win anything? I'm glad I found out before the response deadline. I need to come up with a better system for keeping track of those blog giveaways. I always forget where I've entered. Anywho - I can't wait to see what's in that prize box!!

Let me close with a new fave purchase. I picked up these little papers at the Scrapper's Cove on Sunday. I didn't even have to open the package to know I wanted them.
These are Webster's Pages - aren't they pretty? This will sound wierd, but they even smell good. As a true paper junkie, I appreciate all aspects of paper..even the smell. I don't buy very many 6 x 6 papers but now that I'm making more cards, I figure there will be less waste and I love the smaller scaled patterns.
Ok, hate to do it but I've got to turn on the oven now and get baking...it's communion and confirmation season and cookies need to be baked in their honor!

Hi, I just found this card, following links, of course! I love the doily stamp, and can't find it.
You said Hero arts,on the flicker site, but the hero art I found is not the same as this one.
Do you remember who makes this doily stamp?
I love the circles in it!
