This week at the Cards Blog it's the button challenge. I love buttons as much as the next person and have a pretty good collection of them but this was a '5 button minimum' challenge. Since I tend not to overload my projects with 'stuff' this was a challenge for me. My initial entry only had 4 buttons - a tag I made for Scrapper's Cove. I was desperate to make the deadline of last Friday so I sent it in on the off-chance it would squeak by. Then they extended the deadline to this Friday - so I thought I'd better make a real attempt. Here's what I came up with.
Clearly I was feeling the red buttons and kind of stuck on the 'buttons as holly berries' theme. My favorite of all three of these items is the little tag. It was the last thing I made and it only took a few minutes to make. That is always the way....
Now, I need to do some inspiration research for that Moxie Fab "old country' challenge. There's an actual prize and a blinkie at stake here! Might be time to call upon my crafty Swedish mother in law. She'll know what to do!

Hi Valerie! I saw these on the Cards Blog and I loved them - especially those felt leaves where did you find them?!! Thanks for leaving a post for me - I guess us designers need a creativity outlet from our "normal" creativity! LOL. Love all your designs!
